APW - Waltham, Riverside Maximus, 23J, 16S, 14K gold original Keystone HC with beautiful ornate engraving detail, gold cuvette, fancy bow, white enamel DS dial with script "Waltham" signature distinctive to this mvt grade, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, diamond endstones on balance and escape wheel, jeweled barrel, ornate nickel damascene, s#16188630. Gross weight of assembled watch 66.0 dwt (102.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking very sluggishly with low amplitude on a full wind, overhaul recommended, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, few short fine to micro-fine scratches, some very small bits of oxide to perimeter of larger winding wheel, oxide to case screws and to an adjacent barrel bridge screw; dial with short hl below seconds-register at 6:30, grouping of small surface nicks just left of center; fine hands, area of oxide to perimeter of minute and oxide and finish loss to tip of minute; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, front and rear open a bit short of 90 degrees (to approximately 80-85 degrees each); bow pivots freely, crow shows light wear; good glass crystal.
